How do I use the translator?
Type or speak any word or phrase in English or Spanish. The app will instantly translate it. Use the microphone button for voice input and the speaker button to hear pronunciations.
What are the guided lessons?
Our guided lessons use the Building Structures method. Listen to prompts, speak your answers, and get instant feedback. They're designed to help you build sentences naturally.
How does voice recognition work?
Click the microphone button and speak clearly. Your device's browser will process your voice locally. Make sure to allow microphone permissions when prompted.
Can I save words and phrases?
Yes! Click the save button on any translation to add it to your Word Bank. You can organize them by categories and review them anytime.
What's the Usage Report?
The Usage Report shows which words and phrases you've translated most frequently, helping you identify what to study. You can filter by time period and language.
How do shared sessions work?
Create a shared translator session by entering someone's email. Both of you can see translations in real-time, perfect for conversations or learning together.
Can I use this offline?
Currently, the app requires an internet connection for translations and AI features. We're working on offline functionality for future updates.
How do I change voice settings?
Go to Settings to choose your preferred voice gender for Spanish and English text-to-speech. You can test each voice before selecting.
Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. You can:
- Self-service: Log in and go to Settings → Delete Account to instantly remove all your data.
- By email: If you can't access your account, email us and we'll delete your data within 30 days.
